On my last update I wrote this:

Work has been very stressful I can’t lie… Hopefully once the dust settles my health improves.

Honestly, the work is still very stressful, which is why the weekends and any holidays much more sweet. But it also causes me sadness during the edge of holidays / weekends, such as right now where my thoughts are mostly “oh no tomorrow I have work again”.

People might ask me “why are you stressed even though you work remotely”, and I guess the most I can say is “a classic case of lack of manpower being compensated by AI tools, supplemented by unrealistic deadlines & requirements that keep changing”. I’m kind of worried if any of my superiors / coworkers read this update, but I think the chances of that happening is pretty slim.

Enough about work, I want to document any progress I made during March 2026:

Chunithm: on my way to 16.75 rating

I think I might be able to reach 17 by the end of this year, judging from the progress I’m currently making. Too soon to tell though, because raising the rating from new charts is very tough, and this year there will be a version update, which combines all of my new charts into the old charts.

Next Thursday there should be an update, and if it is what I think it is (hyperreality, deep blue, 創) I think I should be able to get 16.75 soon enough.

Path of Exile: finished 37/40 challenges, aiming for 40/40

Usually I just grind until I finished 36 challenges, because that’s the number of challenges needed to get all the costume pieces for that league. But I’m having so much fun that I want to aim for 40/40, and there is no rush anyway since a league usually lasts for like 3 months.

10K training progress

I just ran 8km today, and honestly the first 2km is always the worst for me. After some time I would get used to the load & pace, but the first hump really turns me down a lot from running.

Body weight & blood pressure progress

My weight lately is in the 68.5 - 69.75 kg range, which is nice but still far from my target (65 kg). Since my parents are on holiday for a while, I can choose what I eat & when without getting any criticisms from them.

For blood pressure I managed to get my systole to be constantly around 120-130, but my diastole keeps hovering around the 80-90 range (which is apparently considered stage 1 hypertension).

I heard that reducing my weight & doing cardio will help with blood pressure, so maybe over time it will get better.

Future plans

  • I hope 創 really comes out next Thursday (2nd of April), because if it does then I can unlock it on the 13th of April (no way in hell I can do 2000 life master difficulty, I will have to do 3000 life expert difficulty).
  • JLPT registration will be open on the 7th of April, and honestly I’m still having doubts on whether to take the N2 this July or not. It’s a stupid thought where if I do end up passing the N2 but have horrible Japanese due to not practicing my conversational skills, people would mock me for it.
    • If I do end up taking it, I guess I need to hurry up and continue my Goi (語彙) project, because I think my biggest weakness is still vocabulary (which affects reading & listening as well, because if I don’t even know the words, context clues can only get you so far)
  • Gonna keep continuing my 10K training plan, which should theoretically end in 6 weeks.
